SWIM SEASON AWARDS
Ribbons: A ribbon is awarded each swimmer for each event completed.
Speeding Tickets: Speeding tickets are given after each meet to swimmers who improve their time in any race they swim. Speeding tickets are turned in at the end of the season and are used for door prizes at the end of season party.
End of the Season Awards:
The following awards will be given at the end of the season party.
Commitment Certificate - This certificate is awarded to any swimmer who has regular practice attendance and participated in all six dual meets and prelims.
Participation Award - Any swimmer who competes in four or more meets during the season will receive this award.
Top of the Ladder – These medals will be awarded to those swimmers who hold the top of the ladder position in each stroke for the most number of weeks during the season and swim at least 4 meets.
Most Improved Veteran Swimmer – This trophy will be awarded to a girl and boy in each age group who has been a member of the team for more than a year and has overall improvement (all strokes combined) in meets and practices.
Most Improved New Swimmer – This trophy will be awarded to a new girl and boy in each age group with the same criteria as above.
